Lehigh University's Marching 97
"The Finest Band East of All Points West!"
Welcome to Lehigh University's Marching 97, proudly known as one of the nation's only student-run marching
bands! Why are we called the 97? Historically, the band was made up of 12 ranks with 8 members each (for a total of 96 musicians)
plus a drum major, which brought them to 97 people. With increased interest in the band, we've since expanded to continue to allow
anyone to join, so we now have over 100 members!
Every time you see us, we have one goal: Spread as much psyche as possible! What is psyche, you ask? Only the very spirit that
makes the 97 as proud as it is! First formed in 1906 with small numbers, we continue to grow and welcome all those who enjoy
music and want to help us promote spirit around Lehigh's campus.

Alumni Reunion is June 13th! If you are on campus or in the local area on Saturday, June 13th come play at Alumni Reunion!
There will be free food! If you are a rising senior, you also get a free Alumni Flame shirt! Remember to wear flame attire.
